Aviation Mall fixing code issues cited by Queensbury officials — Saratoga Springs Real Estate news

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (WNYT) — Aviation Mall said it is fixing about a dozen interior code violations and expects the remaining work to be done by next week. Mall management said the town of Queensbury gave it a list of about a dozen violations tied mostly to minor maintenance and safety items. The list included unlit exit signs and fire extinguishers with expired inspection tags. Many of the issues were tied to vacant spaces and had not been addressed under previous ownership, according to mall management. They said many of the violations have already been fixed and added staff and contractors to speed up the rest of the work. The town set a Nov. 16 deadline to finish the required work before any interior space closures would take effect. Mall management said it expects all violations to be corrected by next week and plans to schedule a reinspection with the town by next week. “The safety of our tenants, their employees and our customers remains our highest priority,” they said
